From Dorchester, Weymouth, Bridport or Yeovil on the A35

At the Kingston Maurward roundabout take the A35 East towards Bere Regis. The road widens into a dual carriageway.

Continue on the dual carriageway past the first 2 exits (Bockhampton/Hardy’s Cottage, and the first exit for Puddletown/Troy town).

Turn off the A35 at the second exit signposted to Puddletown (which is also the A354 Blandford and Athelhampton House exit).

At the mini roundabout take the third exit back across the A35 (signposted Puddletown).

There is a further mini roundabout at the far side of the A35. Take the first exit (straight on) towards Puddletown.

As you enter the village the Blue Vinny public house is on the right. A hundred yards past this you will pass over a small bridge across the River Piddle. Turn left immediately after this bridge onto Backwater. Piddle Valley Vets is on the Right after 200 yards.

From Bere Regis, Ringwood, Bournemouth, or Poole, on the A35

At the Bere regis roundabout (junction of A31 and A35 at which there is a Shell Filling Station) take the A35 towards Dorchester. Continue past the exit for Tolpuddle.

Take the second exit (Puddletown, Athelhampton House and Blandford).

At the mini roundabout take the first exit to Puddletown.

As you enter the village the Blue Vinny public house is on the right. A hundred yards past this you will pass over a small bridge across the River Piddle. Turn left immediately after this bridge onto Backwater. Piddle Valley Vets is on the Right after 200 yards.
