Microchipping

Dogs, cats and many other pets can be microchipped to aid in returning them if they go wandering or get lost. Inserting a microchip is a quick process and can usually be done in consultation with a conscious pet.

A microchip – a rice-sized chip with a unique reference number, is inserted under the skin. If your pet is separated from you, the chip can be read by a dog warden or veterinary practice, the details can be checked on a national database and you can be contacted so you can be reunited with your pet. If you would like your pet microchipped, please book an appointment using the button below.
